Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Sherbet Agency (Pty) Ltd ("we", "us"), which runs The Fit Check. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

Your account

Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account. You may delete your account at any time.

Community rules: zero tolerance

We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive users. You must not post, comment or send anything that:

• is sexually explicit, or sexualises anyone under 18 in any way;
• harasses, bullies, threatens or shames others, including about their body, size or appearance;
• is hateful or discriminatory, or promotes violence, self-harm or illegal activity;
• shares someone else's private information, or photos of other people without their permission;
• is spam, a scam, or impersonates a person or brand;
• infringes someone else's copyright or trademarks.

Only post photos of children if you are their parent or guardian, and keep them fully clothed and age-appropriate.

You can report any post or account and block any user from within the app. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules, and suspend or remove the accounts responsible.

Your content

You own what you post. By posting it, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and share it within The Fit Check and in links you or others share, so the app can work. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where others have already re-shared it.

Shopping and prices

Product matches are suggestions, some made by AI, and may not be exact. Prices and stock come from retailers and may change. Purchases happen on the retailer's site under their terms; we are not the seller. Some links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

The service

We provide the app "as is" and may change, pause or stop features at any time. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for content posted by other users. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under South Africa's Consumer Protection Act.

Ending your use

We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms. You may stop using the app and delete your account whenever you like.
